Creating an application with the New Application wizard

You can use the New Application wizard to quickly create an application that contains the required rules and data instances. This wizard uses customizable application templates to create applications. When you create an application from an application template, the questions in the wizard help to customize the application to your specific business needs.

1. In the Designer Studio header, click the name of your current application and click New Application.
2. In the New Application wizard, click the application template that you want to use for your application.
3. Click Use this application type.
4. Provide information for the following configuration options. The wizard pages might differ depending on the application template that you select. For example, the following pages are displayed for the Custom template:
   • Select primary device – Select the type of device where your application will primarily be used. All applications are responsive and work on all devices.
   • Select color scheme – Select a color scheme for your application.
   • Name your application – Enter a name for your application.
   • Optional: Advanced configuration – Specify additional configuration options. For more information, see Advanced settings.
5. Click Create application.

Based on the application template and the information that you specify, the system creates an application with the required case types, data types, access groups, and operators.
